Texas Instruments India is working closely with its customers in India in a wide array of sectors such as industrial electronics (UPS, inverters, energy meters, lighting, etc.), medical electronics (ultrasound scanners, x-ray machines, ECG machines, MRI scanners, etc.), consumer, telecom and automotive. TI India has opened 12 offices in 10 locations in the country to reach out to its customers with sales and applications support.
The focus at TI India has consistently been on innovation. TI India is deeply involved in developing state-of-the-art solutions for applications like wireless handsets, wireless infrastructure (base stations), video (security and surveillance, IP phones, set-top boxes), High Performance Analog, etc.

Participants are challenged to design a unique application ("Project") that must have a TI MCU (MSP430/Stellaris/Hercules/C2000) in it. Participants are also encouraged to use the vast portfolio of TI Analog products which is further enhanced by the recent acquisition of National Semiconductor. Any company, design house, hobbyist, individual or group of individuals, may enter the Contest.
